Added some pics about our trip to the Milodon Cave, now let us never speak of it again... (07/01/05) ~Tom

Word up all,

Sorry bout the lack of updates... internet is slow and expensive down here and the pile of digital pics is just getting ridiculous. We´ll get´r done tho.

We just got back from an intense 8 day camping-hiking trip in Torres del Paine national Park. The sights are incredible, you really have to see them to believe them. Giant glaciers and huge towering peaks, aqua and crystal clear lakes... spectacular. The pictures take a long time to upload so please be patient, You can check the site to see when we´ve updated it.

We are still having a blast and meeting tons of cool peeps. Actually ran into two fellow engineers from Queen´s, Ed and Kiersten (I hope that´s spelled right). Small planet.

The party is splitting up for christmas, Going to Puerto Montt; Tom by boat, bill and dan by bus. I´ve heard mixed things about the ferry but I´m hoping for good weather.

WE are getting a little sick of the overpriced park fees and the garbage weather (I thought south america was supposed to be warm) I guess it doesn´t apply this close to the antarctic circle... dropped the ball on that one. We are heading for warm weather soon... beaches, desert, jungle, Carnivale (maybe)... you guys will just have to wait and see.

Thats all for now,
Be patient for the pics... I have about 500 coming.

Tommy
