Jigsaw Puzzleworthy Scenery

Text written in: English

In the afternoon, we drove east a few kilometers for some far-off viewing of the glacier and the mountain range. We had a picnic lunch near some grazing cattle and then walked around Lake Matheson, the most-photographed lake in NZ. There are three or four points where the mountains are reflected in the still waters of the lake.

For dinner we went to the little general store and bought a couple of frozen Indian meals to cook in the Ivory Towers communal kitchen.
